The purpose of the Goddard Regulators is to have fun, and prepare for the eventual zombie apocalypse that we all know is coming at some point. Whether the plague be caused by Caribbean voodoo doctors, or the H1N1 flu vaccine, it is our job and our duty to be prepared for dealing with the walking dead.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT
ZOMBIE OUTBREAK 22
Zombie Outbreak 22 is a 4 Stage Main Match which will require at least 80 rounds of ammunition. More is always better! We limit shooters to 50 per day and we will offer a pre-registration time beginning September 1, 2020. Pre-Registration is not required but it will guarantee your place on a squad. If you pre-register and your plans change I will refund your match fee if you let me know anytime before the match starts that you are not coming. I cannot refund for “no shows.” I highly recommend Pre-Registering as we frequently sell out and you don’t want to be Number 51.
The match fee is $20 per shooter, per category, per day. (We do not accept Credit Cards.) The Saturday match sign-in begins at 11:00 a.m. and the Sunday match sign-in begins at 8:00 a.m. You may shoot Saturday or Sunday or both days.
Following the Main Match each day we will have an Awards Ceremony and we have trophies for First Place and certificates for second and third place in each category. You must complete the 4 Stage Main Match to be eligible for awards. We also do drawings for Door Prizes during the awards. Every shooter is entered into the door prize drawings. Shooters who compete both days are entered into a special drawing on Sunday for a very nice prize.
You are welcome to bring a camper or tent and dry camp close to the range. Please let us know in advance if you plan to camp.
Don’t forget to stay for the FREE ZOMBIE SIDE MATCH Scroll down for information about the side matches.
There is no food vendor on site so please bring your own snacks and non alcoholic beverages. NEW FOR OUTBREAK 22: Be sure to bring your own water. Because of Covid 19 we will not have jugs of water on the range. We are within 2 miles of several fast food restaurants and pizza. Most folks bring lawn chairs.
THE ZOMBIE OUTBREAK SIDE MATCH
The Zombie Outbreak 22 Side Match following the Main Match.
ZOMBIE COVID! Score will be a combination of time and accuracy. The targets WILL NOT BE SOCIAL DISTANCED! You may use your Zombie Outbreak match firearm or a .22. We’ll have classes for .22 Pistols, .22 Rifles, Centerfire Pistols, Centerfire Rifles. You will shoot the course twice and may choose the best of the two scores. (Your ammo must conform to Zombie Outbreak 22 match rules. No magnum loads please.) You will need only 20 rounds of ammo. Accuracy will be VERY IMPORTANT. You may shoot the side match as many times as you like for Bragging Rights but your first time through will be your official score.
ZOMBIE OUTBREAK 21 GRAND PRIZE INFORMATION
Everyone who shoots Saturday AND Sunday at Zombie Outbreak 21 is entered into a special drawing.
We will do this drawing before the Awards Presentation on Sunday and two lucky winners will get to choose one of three great prizes. The prize not chosen will be included in the regular door prize drawings.
John Watson of Dark Fire Forge is again sponsoring our Grand Prize Drawing. John is sending us a beautiful custom forged knife with leather sheath. We so appreciate John’s craftsmanship and generosity. Thanks, John!
Brownells is also sponsoring our Grand Prize Drawing this match. In addition to many other nice door prizes they have donated a very nice Sig Sauer 6x22mm Digital Ballistic Laser Rangefinder. As always, a BIG THANKS to Brownells for their generous support.

Take Colfax, Iowa Exit #155 and go North on Hwy 117 to the first crossroads after Van Wall Equipment (the John Deere Store). This is N 19th Ave. W. Turn right (east) and go approximately 1 mile. The range will be on the left (north) side of the road. If you get to a crossroads (W 100th St. N.) you went to far.
Because of the extreme winter weather this year please be very careful when you turn onto N 19th Ave W. There are a couple of very soft spots and if it is raining it will be muddy.
